Just got off the river after a soggy morning with Mark and his 12 year old son Andrew who drove all the way from Ann Arbor to Striper fish with me. We worked our asses off to come up with 12 herring this morning but those 12 baits paid off with 7 fish coming to the net. Andrew did a better job at 12 years old than a lot of grown men I’ve had on my boat. I let him do everything, from the hook set to the end game. Fun day, take a kid fishing!
