5/5/2011 Report

Fishing was outstanding again this morning on the Delaware River. Today I had Scott and Bill as my charter and they had also fished with me last fall. Our last trip was incredible and they must be good luck because they picked the right day once again. Catching bait was no problem again and the Bass were extremely aggressive right from the first drop. We could barely keep more than one line in the water and we caught some real hogs today. Just like on Tuesday the bite completely shut down around 9:30. I think it may have had something to do with these guys bringing bananas on my boat. Once I saw the bananas I threw them overboard but the damage had already been done. Bad luck was upon us. Luckily we had already boated a ton of big Bass. Have trips every day and hopefully the bite stays red hot like it has been for weeks.
