Sitting at home today because of the heavy wind and rain and none to happy about it. Fishing was both incredible and incredibly frustrating this week with feast or famine Striped Bass hunting. The wind has been blowing out of the south for the past two weeks which really makes the water cold and dirty and is no good for us. All it took was for that wind to turn around on Tuesday out of the East and North and suddenly the fish were where they were supposed to be and feeding with a vengeance. I have a lot of the days mixed up but here are some really great photos that show the size of fish we’ve been getting. I have 5 trips booked next week and I’m hoping this wind and rain leaves our area by Monday so we can get back to it.
If you have written to me about booking a Fall trip please be patient (or keep trying) as I’m spending a few nights a week in a motel room next to the boat and don’t have internet access or time to reply immediately; if I’m not on the boat I’m usually sleeping. That being said, we still have a lot of excellent Fall dates open for Striper fishing, you really want to experience this firsthand, the pictures tell the story…….
